Listen RJR 94FM Live

To the average Jamaican, justice seems elusive, while injustice is seemingly very commonplace. The LAW (Lawyers Always Win), is viewed as a big stick that is held only by the learned. Those who cannot grasp it will have to embrace fate, in their favour or against their will.

Against this background, arose the need for:

  • a medium to air, share, learn, and recognize impacting issues under the law;

  • a programme that would present the scale of balance, clarity and understanding on legal ramblings – hence, the programme Balancing Justice.

Balancing Justice is the only programme of its kind on local radio. It goes beyond the mere black and white of legal and police issues; and brings listeners all sides of every story – “mine, yours and theirs.” It is hosted by the learned and esteemed Attorney-at-law André Earle, and is aired on RJR 94 FM every Tuesday from 9:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.

The programme is fearless and factual. It is the raw law and the real deal in live legal issues. Its goals are:

  1. to enlighten listeners on Jamaican law;

  2. to make legal advice available at no cost to all Jamaicans;

  3. to clarify grey areas and direct Jamaicans to the appropriate avenues and persons who will assist them in obtaining proper legal recourse.

Balancing Justice, one of Jamaica’s most popular night-time radio programmes, is not a mythical programme, it is real and it’s on the Real Jamaican Radio.

Operation Justice partners with the Police and other state agencies, moving towards a new and shared vision for a justice system that is available, accessible, accountable and affordable to all. With Distinguished Panelists: Senior Superintendent AJ Forbes, Head of the Community Safety and Security Branch of the JCF and Sergeant Dian Bartley of the Strategic Review Implementation Team of the JCF, Moderator and Attorney-at-Law.

Andre Earle weighs in on the issues and eases through the legal landscape to provide a platform where Justice & the Law are made easily understood by ordinary folks. Operation Justice takes the spotlight on Tuesday evenings at 8:00 on Real Jamaican Radio.
