Police force mourns passing of two officers
The Jamaica Constabulary Force is in mourning following the passing of two of its members Divisional Commander for the Clarendon Police, Senior Superintendent Dathan Henry and Inspector Delvin Grant.
Both men died early Sunday morning in hospital.
RJR News understands that SSP Henry had complained of not feeling well last week.
He was taken to hospital for tests and then admitted sometime after to the Intensive Care Unit at the Kingston Public Hospital.
SSP Henry died shortly before 3 a.m.
July would have made four years since he took up duties in Clarendon.
And Inspector Grant up to the time of his passing was assigned to the security detail of Transport and Works Minister Dr.Omar Davies.
More than a week ago Inspector Grant suffered a mild stroke.
He too was admitted to hospital where he underwent several tests.
Inspector Grant died about one o'clock this morning in the Intensive Care Unit at the University Hospital of the West Indies.
