Investigators in the St Catherine North division, say that the man who was on Thursday night fatally shot during an alleged shootout with Police, was a major person of interest in several cases of murder in the division.
The man, Damian Thompson, otherwise called Bigz, and who was aligned to the One Order gang, was the prime suspect in three quadruple killings and two double murders.
Three of these killings happened last year in the division.
 He was shot dead on Thursday by the Police, during an alleged shootout in Spanish Town.
The police say despite him being killed, the cases on which he is a suspect are still open, and they're still awaiting persons to come forward and give statements in relation to these killings.
